The manufacturing sector of the kingdom amounts to 217 billion pounds. The UK has been surpassed by Mexico and Russia, which have climbed to seventh and eighth place respectively. Mexico has benefited from the increase in investments from China, while Russia has boosted its defense production to 6% of GDP. China has taken the top spot, with the United States in second.
