Novitec company enhanced the Ferrari 296 GTS and added a "ducktail" to it. The atelier, specializing in tuning luxurious and cutting-edge cars, presented a customization program for the two-door Ferrari 296 GTS. As reported by motor.ru, the car, which became the first road sports car of the Italian brand with a V6 engine — previously, a similar power unit was only installed on Formula 1 cars, sports prototypes, and vehicles under the Dino brand — has been made more powerful and visually much more aggressive, and also offered a number of interesting modifications. Just like the coupe, the carbon fiber aerodynamic body kit for the roadster includes a two-section splitter, side skirts, decorative air intake covers, mirror casings, a diffuser, and a "ducktail" spoiler, which increase downforce. There is carbon fiber engine bay trim and a new exhaust system with various finishing options — stainless steel, matte carbon, or pure 999 gold plating. The sports car is equipped with NF10 wheels, developed by Novitec in collaboration with Vossen. The wheel sizes are 21 inches at the front and 22 inches at the rear, available in 72 different colors and fitted with special hub caps reminiscent of a central lock design. In addition, the tuning atelier is ready to revamp the interior with any materials in any colors and combinations according to the customer's wishes. The car is outfitted with a stainless steel or, optionally, Inconel exhaust system with 102-millimeter tailpipes that require the integration of a special mesh insert into the rear bumper. The exhaust was sufficient to increase the power output by 38 horsepower — up to 868. No other technical modifications, apart from sports suspension springs lowering the ride height by 35 millimeters, are offered for the sports car. However, it is possible to install a hydraulic front lift system, allowing to raise the front end by 40 millimeters to overcome uneven surfaces.
